I’ve got a new addiction! Yey! *’Cause I haven’t got enough of those in my life…*

Yesterday, I was instant messaging (with ?) my friend Perdido *which is Portuguese for “Lost”, hence the blog title “Perdido is Lost!“*, and he told me about this band called Autodrone. “I think you’ll enjoy it”, he said… And, girl, was he right! I love it when people know me so well that they can introduce me to a band, tv show, website, whatever and I’ll actually like it Thanks, Perdido!

Well, I have a thing for female vocal bands *if you didn’t know that, take a mental note* and this one is just awesome!

Autodrone is a band from NYC *a.k.a. New York City* that has been around since 2002. They finally released their first full-length album last year. It is a self release *no record label* called “Strike A Match“. You can check some more info on the band and “Strike A Match” here.

You can listen to them on Last.fm or ilike (on the second you can download more songs *for free* than on the first). You can also download *for free* some of their stuff here. I’m not telling where you can get the whole full-length release though…

I recommend the song Strike A Match, it is the best one in my humble opinion. But these ones are also pretty cool: Nicotine Highs, Can’t Keep These, Panic, Through The Backwoods.

I couldn’t find lyrics for their songs, though, and that suxs! If you manage to find them, send me a comment, ok?
